Starting from Villa Daphni, you can follow one of the Local Walk Trails to guide you to the nearby beaches through the Valley of Pylaros which varies from an hour to an hour and a half walking time. Alternatively, you can walk uphill to the Monastery of Themata with spectacular views. You can also visit The Caves of Melissani and Drogarati both of them near Sami, less than 20 min drive. Visiti the small village Assos, considered to be one of Kefalonia’s most beautiful villages, noted for its Venetian castle.
